The validity for the layout of the Vilnius Football Academy (VFA) complex buildings Athletic fields are planned in the horizontal sites in order to preserve the existing relief and, thus, minimise the cost of installation. Fewer trees are being cut and planted. Underground parking in the centre of the site is avoided. Parking is proposed on the surface and semi-underground parking close to Geroves street. This is a way to minimise the costs of construction and to prevent high flows of transport deep into the territory. Buildings are designed envisaging the possibility of gradual development for the complex. Paths for pedestrians are preserved. Links for pedestrians are designed for easier access to attraction points located in the surroundings of the site. Administrative and service type buildings are located close to Geroves street, improving the logistics of visibility and exploitation. Stadium is designed further from the residential area, thus minimising the level of the undesirable noise.
